Purpose of the Role
As Local Service Manager Philippines, you take full operational ownership of the service business in the country. You drive after-sales growth across spare parts, conversions, and field service for our installed base, ensure consistent service delivery for our local customers, and represent KHS in the Philippine market as the leading point of contact for service matters.
This role is a key country-level leadership position within the regional service organization and combines commercial, operational, and people-management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
• Take full P&L responsibility for the local service business: spare parts, conversions, and field service.
• Lead, coach, and develop the local service team including technicians, coordinators, and commercial staff.
• Act as the senior service point of contact for key customers in the Philippines, building long-term relationships and identifying business potentials.
• Plan, prepare, and follow up regular customer visits and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) reviews with strategic accounts.
• Drive achievement of order entry, revenue, and EBT targets for the country in alignment with regional strategy.
• Ensure timely execution and full invoicing of all service jobs (field service, conversions, parts deliveries).
• Steer local execution of regional service sales initiatives and conversion push activities.
• Coordinate field service deployments, parts shipments, and technician scheduling with the regional planning team.
• Ensure 100% compliance with KHS Health & Safety standards on all customer sites.
• Manage local change and claim situations, escalating to regional level where required.
• Identify local market needs and feed structured input into the regional service strategy.
• Ensure data hygiene in CRM and planning tools for all customer interactions and service jobs.
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in technical service, after-sales, or field service in industrial machinery (preferably filling, packaging, or process equipment).
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role with disciplinary responsibility for a service team.
• Strong commercial understanding: ability to read service P&Ls, build quotations, and negotiate with customers.
• Solid knowledge of the Philippine F&B / beverage / consumer goods market is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on, customer-focused, and structured working style; comfortable in both technical and commercial conversations.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Filipino as native language is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the Philippines and occasionally to regional hub locations.
