Purpose of the Role
As Service Analyst & Reporting Specialist, you sit directly in the Regional Head of Service office and turn data into decisions. You build and maintain the regional service performance reporting, prepare board-ready analyses, and support the transformation agenda with fact-based insights across spare parts, conversions, and field service.
This is a staff role with strong cross-functional reach: you work hand-in-hand with Service Sales, Order Management, Field Service, and Controlling to ensure that the regional service leadership has the right data at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and continuously improve the regional service KPI dashboard (Power BI / SAP / Excel) covering all countries and business components.
- Prepare regular performance reporting packages (monthly business reviews, quarterly reviews, ad-hoc board input) for the region.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on spare parts sales, conversion pipeline, field service utilization, contract performance, and installed base.
- Translate raw data from SAP, CRM, and planning tools into clear narratives and decision-ready charts.
- Track and report progress on the regional transformation initiatives (hub relocation, KPI baselining, supplier rating improvement).
- Support country-level performance reviews with prepared data packages and benchmarking views.
- Maintain a structured analytics library / cockpit accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify data quality gaps and drive corrective actions with the data owners.
- Provide ad-hoc analyses on commercial topics: pricing, customer profitability, segment trends, conversion attach rates.
- Support preparation of management presentations and external customer reviews where data is required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Controlling, or comparable field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business analytics, controlling, business intelligence, or service operations reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills are mandatory; proficiency in Power BI is a strong advantage.
- Working knowledge of SAP (SD / MM / FI modules) is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure ambiguous topics and present them clearly.
- High attention to detail and discretion in handling confidential management information.
- Excellent written and spoken English; ability to communicate with senior stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-starter mentality – comfortable working in a small, high-trust staff function.
