Your tasks
- Be the client’s first point of contact for service-related enquiries, escalations and internal escalations for the KHS East Africa order management team
- Business driver, acquire and increase after sales business and support in new machine business within the existing customer portfolio
- Present service concepts, work out client-specific concepts in line with our service portfolio
- Ensure services to be rendered by order management (quotes, invoices, delivery of spares and services, etc.) are done in a timely manner.
- Visit and advise clients to address their needs; give support on conversions, upgrades, and technical issues
- Implement sustainable maintenance approaches for existing customers.
- Plan, execute and manage service-related projects such as overhauls and conversions
- Offer, maintain and execute SLA’s
- Ensure adherence to framework agreements and become the custodian thereof
- Work with CRM system and maintain client database; prepare reports and analysis thereof.
- Maintain and update IBA on SAP
- Liaise with GKAM and HQ SKAM to create and implement strategies to strengthen customer relationships and grow the business sustainably.
- Ensure required resources in terms of spares/labour, training are provided
- Support the Projects Team on all project related matters including payments and claims.
- Support Finance Team on collection of outstanding invoices
Your profile
- Master’s Degree in Engineering/Business Studies
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the beverage industry.
- Good knowledge of KHS systems technology, SAP and MS Office
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English. Knowledge of German and/or French would be an asset
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Highly flexible, assertive and goal-oriented
- Able to work under pressure and be a team player
- A targeted and independent work ethic
- Willing to travel extensively within Africa
